Our Room

Compared to our bedroom at the apartment, this bedroom is large. We had to adjust to the minimal closet space. Over at the Apt, we each had our own closet the length of a wall. And now, we share a closet that is as small as a front closet. Good thing we have dressers! The space is nice in the room, though. The walls came out darker than we expected, but the good news is the walls are more blue than we imagined.

Our bedroom was the 2nd room to get completed (first, was the living room). That was pretty important to me. I don't sleep very well when the room is in a chaotic state. Here are some pics for you visual people out there.

I recognize the purse hangout!
Baby room: are those stacking shelves fastened to the wall? Wouldn't want the baby to shake 'em down (Me being safety mom and all-ha! Did I tell you I got my bike up to 115 the other day?) Oh, and Sara(no H!) I didn't print your name on that package. The lady at the ups store did. The address was already in the system, and there was no hesitation at your name, so I didn't even think to tell her how to spell it. Sorry. I DO KNOW how to S-P-E-L-L my sister's name.

you don't need a diaper cover for bumgenius. They come with them, plus two inserts. They came! I love them. Autumn fits in them wonderfully. They even have special velcro (the soft side) on the inside of the diaper so that you can fasten the other part of the velcro(the rough side) to them for wash time so your velcro doesn't get garbled with each other making one big ball of diapers, or little pieces of lint don't get stuck in them.

I wish I had these when Ana was born. Basically after 8 months you don't pay for diapers anymore.

Oh, if you want me to send you a diaper to check it out, let me know. I promise you, your name will be spelled right this time!

I have a bunch of huggies newborn care left over from Autumn, I really like them alot. I'm glad I saved them. I'll use them for the first two weeks. I probably go through at least one package per week. You have to buy special soap for cloth diapers. I've been using stuff that isn't that good for them, but I found something else, via a friend who is an expert: Charlie's soap. I can get free shipping through ebay. I'll give you the link if you want.

Due date in October 18, but midwife thinks its going to be a month late because I'm so tiny. But the baby has already turned (which doesn't mean too much at this point)... Could you get me Midwife Sh. phone number, or even my measurements for the last two months for Autumn, and all of the measurements Ana? I think I only got in for the the last month with Ana... PTL that she took me! if she would give them to you?

I'm having the baby at a birthing center 45 minutes away. I'm thinking about having a water birth, because she's assured me that she can give me the "support" that I need, the tub was custom made to do that.

My best friend is coming with me, too bad I can't have you!
